Trader Joe’s starts work on Wilmington store

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — It’s official: Trader Joe’s is coming to Wilmington.

Wilmington City Planner Ron Satterfield confirms that grocery store chain is going ahead with a 13,000 square-foot store at the corner of S. College Road and Oleander Drive. The plans call for 81 parking spaces.

No word yet on when it is expected to open.
