Two arrested for stolen motor vehicle in Elizabethtown

ELIZABETHTOWN (WWAY) — A 21-year-old and a 19-year-old are facing multiple felony charges after being found with a stolen vehicle in Elizabethtown.
21-year-old Justin Stroud and 19-year-old Casey Wilder were arrested after the Whiteville Police Department responded to multiple reports of breaking and entering of a motor vehicle in Northern Whiteville. One vehicle was reported stolen.
Through the combined efforts of Whiteville Police Department officers, area residents who provided surveillance footage, and the use of the FLOCK camera systems, the stolen vehicle was located at a residence in Elizabethtown, North Carolina.
With assistance from the Elizabethtown Police Department and the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, Stroud and Wilder were taken into custody. The stolen vehicle was also recovered, along with
several additional items reported stolen.
Both face multiple felony charges, including Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle, and Larceny of a Firearm.
Stroud is being held under a $135,000 secured bond. Wilder is being held without bond.
