Two men arrested on outstanding larceny and breaking and entering warrants in Columbus County
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Two men were arrested after Columbus County Sheriff’s Office deputies located individuals with outstanding warrants during an investigation on Old Lumberton Road.
According to the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office, deputies with the Patrol Division responded on July 27 to the 1100 block of Old Lumberton Road after receiving information that people with active warrants were at the property.
Deputies located Jonathan Grainger, who was wanted by the Whiteville Police Department on outstanding larceny warrants. Grainger was taken into custody without incident.
During the investigation, deputies also located Jonathan Andrew Rose, who was found to have multiple outstanding warrants, including:
- Five counts of breaking and entering
- Five counts of larceny after breaking and entering
- Felony larceny
- Felony conspiracy
Both men were transported to the Columbus County Detention Center, where they were served with their outstanding warrants.
The sheriff’s office said the arrests highlight the continued efforts of its Patrol Division to locate wanted individuals and hold those accused of property crimes accountable.
