UPDATE: Woman missing since June returns home

UPDATE: The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office says Tamara Smith Hare’s family says she has returned home and is safe.

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Deputies in Brunswick County are asking for help finding a missing woman. Tamara Smith Hare, 50, was last seen at her home on Horse Branch Road in Ocean Isle Beach June 25 at about 4 p.m.

She is described as 4’11”, 180 lbs. with blonde hair and blue eyes.

She is driving a silver 2010 Hyundai Sonata with North Carolina tag ADJ-4369. It’s not clear where she may have been headed.
