Wachovia Championship a sell-out for fifth straight year

CHARLOTTE. (AP) — Whether Tiger Woods shows up or not, the Wachovia Championship is sold out for the fifth straight year. Woods has until April 27 to decide on the tournament.

Tournament officials say all single-day and weekly ticket books have been sold for the event, which will be held May 3-6 at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte.

Eight of the top 10 players in the world have already committed to play, including defending champion Jim Furyk, Phil Mickelson, Adam Scott, Ernie Els, Vijay Singh, and Retief Goosen.
