Wesley Memorial UMC presents 37th annual pumpkin patch
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church will host its 37th annual Pumpkin Patch from September 26 through October 31.
The Pumpkin Patch will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. Sundays.
Pumpkin prices start at $1 and increase based on size. The Pumpkin Patch will also feature swan gourds, winged gourds and other seasonal items. Visitors can also purchase T-shirts, mugs and other merchandise.
Daycares, preschools and elementary schools can schedule free story times and Pumpkin Patch scavenger hunts. Story times are available by appointment. Groups can email pumpkins@welcometowesleyumc.org with preferred dates and times.
The Pumpkin Patch began 36 years ago as a fundraiser for youth ministry and mission projects at Wesley Memorial UMC. Proceeds continue to support the church’s mission and ministry efforts.
Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church has been part of the Wilmington community for 112 years and is located at the corner of College Road and Oleander Drive.
The church holds worship services Sundays at 9 and 11 a.m., with online worship also available.
