Wesley Memorial UMC pumpkin patch opens for season

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — It’s almost time to turn the calendar to October which means we are officially getting into pumpkin patch season.

The pumpkin patch at Wesley Memorial UMC opens to the public Saturday.

It started 27 years ago to fund youth ministry and mission projects at the church.

Some of the non-profits they help include Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry and Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard.

The patch will be open through Halloween, October 31.
