Whiteville man charged with identity theft


WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) –  A Whiteville man is charged with one count each of identity theft, insurance fraud and attempting to obtain property by false pretense.

Raymond Glenn, III, 52, is accused of pretending to be his brother in order to get an automobile policy and file a claim under the false identity.

Glenn was arrested on Saturday in Columbus County and placed under a $10,000 bond.
