Willie Stargell Foundation to make donation to Novant Health dialysis center

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) — The Willie Stargell Foundation will make another donation to Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in support of the Willie “Pops” Stargell Dialysis Center.

The foundation will present the donation during a check presentation at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at the Betty H. Cameron Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

For nearly 20 years, the Willie Stargell Foundation has contributed more than $1 million to Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Representatives from the foundation and Novant Health are expected to discuss the long-standing collaboration and its impact on patient care during Tuesday’s presentation.
