Wilmington bars to host another fundraiser for Orlando shooting victims

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — If you missed out on a recent fundraiser at Ibiza for the victims of the Orlando shooting, Thursday, you have another chance to give back.

The Ironclad Brewery in downtown Wilmington will be holding a fundraiser from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. to support victims and families of the orlando shooting.

Country music singers Morgan Myles and Chris James will perform. James said it’s great to be able to use his talents to give back.

“I feel like doing this is, and getting everyone together to come and support something like this is a way for us to say that we’re not going to be afraid, and that we’re going to keep fighting for our rights and equality and just show people that we’re not going to, you know, fall down. We’re going to stand up united,” James said.

Costello’s Piano Bar is also sponsoring the event along with Ironclad Brewery. Pre-sale tickets are $7, tickets will be $10 at the door.
