Wilmington Boat Show to draw thousands

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Boat Show kicks off Friday at the Wilmington Convention Center and Port City Marina.

Marina employees have been bringing boats into the marina for days, and there will be more than 70 boats at the show. Some boats will be selling for more than a million dollars.

Vendors from around the Carolinas and beyond will come out to show off some of their newest models. The event will start Friday at noon and run through Sunday.

At the event, there will be seminars, giveaways and marine exhibits throughout the Convention Center.

They expect thousands of people to come out between Friday and Sunday. The VIP Preview Party starts at the marina Thursday from 6-9pm.
