Wilmington Fashion Weekend kicks off tonight

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Fashion Weekend kicks off tonight for the first time in the Port City. Tickets are still available for the 7 p.m. VIP party that really gets the whole weekend rolling.

Tomorrow there will be a design competition for emerging designers. The runway show gives them a chance to showcase their talent and give back to the community. Money raised during the weekend events will benefit Dreams. Organizer Khalilah Olokunola stopped by Good Morning Carolina to provide all the details.
