Wilmington man charged with felony assault involving handgun

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A 19-year-old Wilmington man has been arrested in connection with the alleged assault of a woman earlier this month, according to court records.

Court records show that Anthony Nasir Sincere Hardy is accused of assaulting Cynsire Love with a 9-millimeter handgun on June 16.

Hardy has been charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious bodily injury.

According to court records, Hardy was issued a $1 million secured bond following his arrest.

His first court appearance is scheduled for July 16.
