Wilmington man charged with first-degree murder, held without bond
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A 24-year-old Wilmington man faces first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon charges in connection with a Sept. 8 killing.
According to court documents, Dorian Maurice McNeil is accused of killing Jaysir Kamar Price and stealing his iPhone.
McNeil appeared in court Tuesday and was appointed a public defender.
He was already on supervised probation at the time of the shooting. He is being held without bond at the New Hanover County Detention Center.
McNeil is scheduled to appear in court again Oct. 1.
