Wilmington police investigating Little Caesars armed robbery

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – Wilmington police are searching for the man who robbed the Little Caesars on University Drive.

Police say the responded to a 911 callaround 5:30 p.m. in reference to an armed robbery.

When they arrived, employees told them a man wearing a ski mask and white headphones walked into the Little Caesars and demanded cash. They say the man had a gun.

He got an unknown amount of cash and ran off toward The Glen apartments.

Police searched the area but did not find the suspect.

The armed robbery is still under investigation.
