Wilmington Sharks need host families
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Baseball season for the Wilmington Sharks starts in just a few short weeks but the team says it still needs homes for some of the players.
Organizers are looking for host families to provide a safe place to live for those boys of summer until mid-August.
“Hosting a baseball player is a great experience. The boys are always well-mannered, they’re very appreciative, they know that they are coming into your house for the summer. Usually their parents are in contact with the host families too,” said Alison Linkner, the Host Family Coordinator.
Host families get free tickets to every home game. If you’re interested you can contact Pat Hutchins at 343-5621.
