WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College has announced two new additions to its upcoming entertainment lineup, bringing both classic rock and stand-up comedy to Wilmington audiences.

The venue will host The Electric Light Orchestra Experience on Nov. 6, 2026, followed by comedian Jeff Arcuri’s Road Trip Tour on April 23, 2027.

The Electric Light Orchestra Experience is a multimedia tribute concert celebrating the music of Electric Light Orchestra, the iconic rock band known for blending orchestral arrangements with pop and rock sounds. The production features Evil Woman, a 12-piece tribute band, joined by members of the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra’s string section.

Organizers say the show recreates the sound of ELO’s original recordings, including hits such as “Mr. Blue Sky,” “Telephone Line,” “Don’t Bring Me Down,” “Livin’ Thing” and “Evil Woman.” The performance will also feature custom video content designed to accompany each song.

The concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6.

Comedy fans can look forward to a performance by Jeff Arcuri, a rising stand-up comedian known for his crowd work, storytelling and improvisational style. Arcuri has appeared on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” Comedy Central’s “Roast Battle” and Fox’s “Laughs.”

His Wilmington stop is part of The Road Trip Tour and comes as the comedian prepares to release a new comedy special later this year.

Arcuri’s performance is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2027.

Tickets for both shows will first be available to Wilson Center members beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24.
