WHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) — A woman is facing a disorderly conduct charge after police accused her of fighting or attempting to fight with family members in a Whiteville street.

Keyozia Antoinia Gore was arrested Saturday, Sept. 12, according to court records.

A magistrate’s order alleges Gore intentionally caused a public disturbance on J.K. Powell Boulevard by engaging in fighting or violent conduct in the middle of the street.

Court documents allege Gore was fighting or attempting to fight family members and yelling curse words at family members and members of the public.

Gore was booked into custody early Saturday and released later that night, according to detention records. A magistrate set a $5,000 secured bond.

She originally refused to provide her name and was booked under the name “Jane Doe”.

In setting the conditions of release, the magistrate noted that Gore had ties to the community, children at home and full-time employment. The magistrate said a secured bond was imposed to protect the community.

Gore is scheduled to appear in Columbus County court on Oct. 19.
