Woman dies during altercation at Fayetteville Golden Corral, police say

FAYETTEVILLE, NC (WTVD) — A woman died after suffering a medical emergency during an altercation at a Golden Corral restaurant in Fayetteville on Thursday afternoon, police said.

Fayetteville police responded around 2:30 p.m. to the buffet restaurant at 1806 Skibo Road for a reported physical disturbance with shots fired.

Upon arrival, officers found an unresponsive woman and began life saving measures.

The victim was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
