Woody Durham talks about his career and his new book
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — He’s called the “Voice of the Tar Heels” for a reason. For 40 years, Woody Durham was behind the microphone for Tar Heel basketball and football.
After calling it a career in 2011, Durham is now recapping his career and life in his new autobiography, “Woody Durham: A Tar Heel Voice.” He talks about his beginnings as a young Tar Heel fan growing up in Albemarle, and how he eventually came to get the job he couldn’t even dream of.
He sat down with Good Morning Carolina anchor Tim Buckley this morning to chat. You can view the full interview here: http:wway.wcbi.com/video/2012/09/woody-durham-talks-about-his-career-and-his-new-book#.UFOmnY1lS-G
