WWAY participates in World Read Aloud Day

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Tomorrow is World Read Aloud Day and to celebrate WWAY’s Hannah Patrick paid a visit to an area elementary school Wednesday.

She sat down with Amy Shore’s 5th grade language arts class at North Topsail Elementary school and read a few chapters of the book “Out of my Mind.”

The book is a part of Shore’s efforts to teach her kids about bullying and kindness.
