WPD investigating after pedestrian hit by car downtown

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Dispatchers say Wilmington Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a car downtown.

New Hanover County Dispatch says it happened just before 7 p.m. at 3rd and Castle Streets.

Traffic was rerouted while crews were on-scene investigating the accident.
