WPD: Man arrested after shooting sends three to hospital

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — William Lamb, 43, was arrested in connection to a shooting Friday night that left three people injured.

Members of the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force from the Wilmington Police Department located Lamb Wednesday night. He is being charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

Wilmington Police responded to the 1300 block of Buckingham Avenue around 8 p.m. February 16 in reference to a ShotSpotter notification. Upon arrival, officers located two gunshot wound victims – Deshawn Robinson, 41,and Darnell Morris, 31, both of Wilmington.

Robinson also suffered a stab wound. Both were transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center. A third gunshot wound victim, Damon Charles, 40, also of Wilmington, arrived at the hospital a short time later.
