Young boy hit by car while in crosswalk

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A ten-year-old boy was hit by a car while crossing the intersection of St. Andrews Drive and 17th Street on Saturday evening around 6:00 p.m.

According to New Hanover Dispatch, the boy’s injuries are non-life-threatening and his guardian declined when asked if he needed to go to the hospital.

Wilmington Police are still on scene investigating

There is no information on the vehicle involved at this time.
