Wrightsville Beach bridge work starts Sunday

Wilmington City Offices closed Friday; Trash pick-up not affected

City offices will be closed on Friday in observance of Good Friday. Trash, yard waste and recycling service will be unaffected by the closure. City customers who normally have their trash, recycling and yard waste picked up on Fridays are asked to have all items curbside by 7:30 a.m.

Tall Ship will visit Wilmington during Azalea Festival

The 150 foot Tall Ship Peacemaker will be returning into downtown Wilmington on Tuesday, April 6th for a two week stay in celebration of both the Azalea Festival and the 6th annual Rims on the River Car Show.

video It's been two days since we first told you about Robert Bryant, who owns a western wear shop in Castle Hayne. Monday, he kicked out a service dog which helps a 5-year-old girl who has cerebral palsy, because he said he had a strict "no pets" policy.
