Drivers Beware: State gas tax going up again next week

North Carolina's gas tax will increase 2.5 cents to 35 cents per gallon starting July 1. NC drivers now pay a combined state and federal gas tax of 51.2 cents per gallon. That's one of the highest rates in the nation, and the second highest in the Southeast, according to the American Petroleum Institute. Full story...
