10 students injured in Gastonia school bus accident

GASTONIA (AP) — Authorities say 10 students were injured after their school bus collided with two vehicles in Gastonia.

The bus was carrying 28 students from Sherwood Elementary School. Paramedics treated several children near the intersection where the crash occurred.

The ten students injured were able to walk off the bus and were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The crash happened at about 2:30 this afternoon.
