WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — For the first time, the Cape Fear Railroad Museum will host the annual Train Show inside the museum. The event helps to support the museum and its many programs throughout the year. In past years, the show was held at a separate venue. This year, visitors can experience both the museum and the unique model trains on display.

“We get a lot of involvement and excitement from our great group of model rail-roaders who have a chance to show off what they have, their crafts and skill and its a great family event besides,” said Railroad Museum Director, Mark Koenig.

The cost is five dollars and runs Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Kids can enjoy a free train ride Saturday.
