15-year-old transported to NHRMC after being shot

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A 15-year-old male was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center after being shot this afternoon.

Wilmington Police tweeted that he was transported with non-life threatening injuries after being shot near the intersection of Hanover St. and McRae.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Wilmington Police.
