SURF CITY, NC (WWAY) — A Camp Lejeune spokesman said a Marine was treated and released from the Naval Hospital following an incident with a shark.

Spokesman Nat Fahy  said the incident happened Saturday night when a 32-year-old man was admitted before 10:41 p.m. He was released at around 3:30 a.m. Sunday. Pender County Emergency Management and Surf City Police say they received no calls of shark bites in the area, so the location of the incident is unknown.
