Friday night the first episode of “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” filmed in our area aired on the Food Network.
A description of the episode touts Ceviche’s as “a funky joint cooking up the flavors of Panama.”
Friday was the restaurant’s first time being featured on a national television show.
About 50 people were expected to come to Ceviche’s for a viewing party.
When asked about being featured on the show Ceviche’s owner Laura Tiblier said, “Bigger and better than we could have ever imagined. We’ve been open just over 3 years, and I mean the good things just keep happening.”
“I was in the military for 26 years and I’ve always made ceviche, and my Dad taught me since I was little,” Ceviche’s owner Hunter Tiblier said. “And all through my military career people have told me actually ‘You need to sell this one day.’ So me and my wife was in the fish market in Panama eating ceviche. I’d just retired from the military and she said why don’t we open a ceviche restaurant?”
The owners especially wanted to thank their employees for all their hard work.
