UPDATE: Missing New Hanover County man found dead in Greenfield Lake

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office says the body of a missing man was found this morning in the Greenfield Lake area.

According to a release from sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Jerry Brewer, Justin Hunter Stroupe, 28, was last seen Wednesday at 418 Aquarius Drive in Wilmington.

The death investigation will be conducted by the Wilmington Police Department.
