UPDATE: Teen accused of attempted murder turns himself in

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office says  a 16-year-old who allegedly shot at two people on Thursday has turned himself in.

The sheriff’s office says Jadakiss Jeheim Watkins peacefully turned himself in to law enforcement in Columbus County Saturday evening. The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office says Watkins shot toward a man and woman outside a home following a brief encounter.

It happened around 3:15 p.m. in the 1200 block of Zack Street in Bolivia.

He is charged with two counts of attempted murder.
