Wilmington man killed, identified in Memorial Day shooting

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police have identified the man who died Monday after being shot on Martin Street.

Fuquan Wright, 23, was shot around 2:30 p.m. Monday in the 1000 block of Martin Street.

WPD says he was taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing.
