VIDEO: Man charged after allegedly punching victim outside Carolina Beach bar
CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — A New Hanover County man has been charged after allegedly hitting another man outside of a bar in Carolina Beach last week.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. on North Lake Park Blvd, January 15.

Carolina Beach Police said a verbal argument led to the victim being assaulted by the suspect. No other details from police were made available as officers continue to work on the report.
The victim’s aunt told WWAY her nephew has to have reconstructive surgery on his face. She said her nephew had four major bones broken in his face and there are multiple fractures within each break.
According to the New Hanover Jail, 37-year-old Jacob Allen Adams of Carolina Beach was charged with misdemeanor assault inflicting serious injury.
Due to the extent of the victim’s injuries, that charge was dismissed and Adams is charged with felony assault inflicting serious bodily injury on Friday.
