Girl hospitalized after being hit by car near North Brunswick High

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Leland Police are investigating after a girl was hit by a car near North Brunswick High School Friday afternoon.

Police say the vehicle hit the pedestrian on Old Fayetteville Road near the high school around 3:00 p.m.

The victim was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Incident is still under investigation and no charges have been made at this time.
