One man injured after shooting in Wilmington
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A man was taken to the hospital following a shooting in Wilmington Monday evening, according to police.
The Wilmington Police Department says officers responded to the 1100 block of Rankin St. around 6:05 p.m. in reference to a multiple-round Shotspotter alert.
According to WPD, officers found a 20-year-old man shot. He was transported to NHRMC.
It’s unknown if his injuries are life-threatening.
This case is still under investigation.
