Here’s how you can show support to veterans despite annual parade canceled

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The coronavirus pandemic is leading to yet another cancellation. This year’s Southeastern North Carolina Veteran’s Day Parade is not happening, but there is still a way you can show support for vets.

The event typically takes place in downtown Wilmington in November.

This year will be the first parade of letters.

The festival’s committee says you can write letters to veterans thanking them for their service.
