Fun for the whole family at St. Philips Church 250th anniversary!
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — This weekend, St. Philips Church at Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson historic site is celebrating 250 years. This year marks the anniversary of the consecration of the oldest standing church in the Cape Fear region.
On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors can meet with actors dressed as colonists and Civil War soldiers. There will be a photo exhibit for those wanting to learn more about the church, which has its original walls still standing.
Admission is free and the event is family friendly.
