$25K grant given for Hurricane Matthew documentary

NORTH CAROLINA (WWAY) — A production company is going to make a documentary on the Hurricane Matthew recovery efforts.

They just received a large grant in support of the project.

The North Carolina Community Foundation recently awarded a $25,000 Disaster Relief Fund grant to Longleaf Productions.

The film will provide an overview of the complex and lengthy disaster recovery process.

The documentary will be used as a guide for communities suffering from future natural disasters.
