Deputies: Missing Leland teen found safely
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Deputies in Brunswick County said a Leland teen who was missing has been found safely.
The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office posted the missing alert to their Facebook page late Thursday, saying Zaeyda Baker, 14, was last seen at a home on Hawks Bill Drive.
The post said Baker was last seen just before 7 a.m. Thursday when she was leaving for school. The teen is 5 feet tall, weighs 95 lbs. and has brown hair and eyes, according to the post.
Baker was wearing a black, white and gray dress when she was last seen. At 8:15 a.m. Friday, a sheriff’s spokeswoman said she was found.
