Pender Co. man facing several charges in armed burglary

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Pender County deputies said they made an arrest in an armed burglary.

Deputies said Dallas Vance Shepard III is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, second degree kidnapping and assault on a female, among other charges.

The burglary reportedly happened early Sunday off of Highway 210 in Rocky Point, where deputies said several things were taken from inside a home.

Deputies said they are still investigating, and ask anyone with information to call the sheriff’s office.
