Woman killed in Brunswick County head-on crash

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Troopers said a Supply woman died in a head-on crash this morning.

Troopers said the crash happened on NC 130 around 8:45 a.m. They said Elizabeth Leazer, 30, was headed west when she crossed the center line and hit a box truck head on. They said that caused a chain-reaction crash when the box truck rolled over, crossed center and hit two other vehicles. Troopers said Leazer died at the scene.

The driver of the box truck, as well as the drivers in the other vehicles, did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

Troopers said they think aggressive driving played a role in the crash.
