Kids enjoy brunch with the Easter Bunny

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Arboretum had a day of Easter fun with their first Bunny Brunch.

Chilli’s provided brunch and kids got a chance to visit the Easter Bunny, hunt eggs, and play with real bunnies. All three hundred brunch tickets sold out for this first year event.

Kym Davidson with the arboretum said the event adds something different to the usual gardens.

“So many moms, dads, children and families come to the park, and we just thought it would add a little extra and give them something more to do here,” Davidson said.

The money raised from the event will support the programs and projects of the arboretum.
