Brunswick County Commission votes to send school bond referendum to voters


BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Voters in Brunswick County will get a say on whether a school bond moves forward.

Monday night in a 4-1 vote the Brunswick County commissioners approved a resolution to place a $152 million bond referendum on the November ballot.

The money would go toward a new school and improving 19 others.
