500+ bags of heroin, guns found in home

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A man is facing charges after an early-morning drug raid.

Wilmington Police say Titus Whitaker, 39, is facing charges including trafficking heroin. Police say they found more than 500 bags of heroin at a home in the 1900 block of Colwell Avenue after executing a search warrant at around 8:30 a.m. They say 90 grams of powder cocaine, 41 grams of raw heroin and five guns were also seized during the raid.

Police say this investigation was a collaboration between the Wilmington Police Department and the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Department.
