$5,000 reward offered in Castle Hayne murder investigation

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of those involved in the murder of Melquan Hicks-Bey,22.

His body was found Sunday around 10:00 a.m. in a wooded area off Alvernia Drive in Castle Hayne.

The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office says Hicks-Bey was shot multiple times.
