NHRMC launches new phone app

NEW HANOVER COUNTY (WWAY) — New Hanover Regional Medical Center is making your experience easier.

Today it launched a free smart phone app for patients, families, and visitors to navigate the health care system.

System Architect Matt Hernandez says the app primarily features a navigation function which helps people search all locations, physicians, and services connected to the center.

He says people can also access hospital entrances, appointments, the cafeteria, and much more.

Hernandez says a lot of time and effort has gone into making sure people have a stress free experience.

“When we started our strategic plan, there was a digital virtual plan that was put together,” Hernandez said. “One of the concepts was a mobile application that would help you navigate our NHRMC system.”

Hernandez also says the app is available in English and Spanish.
