Same old song on weather, more dangerous heat in NC

RALEIGH, NC (AP) — Same forecast, different day.

The National Weather Service has again issued a heat advisory for 32 counties in central and coastal North Carolina on Tuesday.

The warning about the heat is in effect from midday until early evening.

Forecasters say heat index readings could range up to 109 degrees along the southeastern coast.

Cities included in the advisory area include Fayetteville, Goldsboro, Greenville, Kinston, Jacksonville, Lumberton, New Bern, Roanoke Rapids, Rocky Mount, Wilmington and Wilson.
