Man takes faith on the road

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — One man is taking his faith on the road. Steve Epp is trying to make is across the country carrying a cross and talking with folks about Christianity.

He and his wife are traveling the south right now, sleeping in a camper and trying to make a difference. He says it’s not about Christian beliefs so much as helping people when they need it.

“I really want to reach the younger people. And not preach to them and not read the Bible to them, but tell them that they’re loved. That’s the most important thing we need to hear in this generation,” said Epp.

Epp said the most important thing he hopes to teach along his journey is forgiveness.
